On Wednesday night Alex Griffiths, 1st XI captain, and Andrew Lowe kindly gave up their time to present the first U11 'baggy maroons' - these will be given out to any U11 player who represents the club in over 3 games. They did a great job and the kids and the parents all enjoyed what was a special evening at ODP.

As well as handing out the caps they hosted a Q&A session which both kids and parents really appreciated.

Alex spoke about the importance of enjoying cricket and of colts players moving through to the senior teams. Andrew talked about the baggy green as a symbol of "mateship", and the need for a clear mind when facing fast bowling.

The caps will be seen on the field for the first time next week. We are sure that this is the start of something special....
