With the clocks going changing this weekend, it is a sure fire sign that Cricket is just around the corner. I hope everyone at Richmond CC is as excited we are for the season ahead.
A lot of hard work has gone on behind the scenes as we prepare for the summer. Fixtures have been allocated, grounds booked, the bar stocked and indoor practice completed.
Below are some key dates coming up shortly, as well as confirmation of some new faces in roles.
We are pleased to announce the following people have taken on new roles at the club:
- Keerty Agarwal - Women's Chair
- Fiona Cumming - Girls Chair
- Phil Marshall - Social Secretary - Specifically focussed on fundraising events
- Stuart Gingell - Club Secretary
Key Dates:- Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th of April - Get Set weekend. Volunteer weekend in preparation for the weekend to ensure we are ship shape and ready to play cricket. Separate comms will come out on the plans for the weekend.
- Wednesday 16th April - 1st Adult Club Nets & Adult pre-season team meeting.
- W/C Monday 21st April - Junior training to commence. You age group manager will be in touch so you know which night your age group is training on.
- Sunday 27th April - Our 1st 'Super Sunday' mini's day of the year.
- Friday 9th of May - Curtain raising BBQ and Social. A relaxed evening for the whole club to have some food and drink whilst the family is kept busy by Adam London, our Director of Cricket, his team, special guest, Sam Robson (Middlesex and England) and assorted other Middlesex players.
