Richmond's 2025 Boys U10s are a friendly, fair, social and successful squad.
In 2025, we will enter Middlesex tier 1 and tier 2 leagues, the Surrey tier 1 league and multiple tournaments and friendlies. This is expected to give plenty of playing opportunities. We will combine this with training on Sunday mornings at our home ground, Old Deer Park, led by our Director of Cricket, Adam London, his pro coach team and our DBS checked parent coaches.
In 2024, we played over 30 matches, topping our Middlesex tier 1 league and competing in the Surrey tier 2 league. The boys had an average of 10 opportunities to play (some many more) giving plenty of time to learn, progress and participate at the right level.
Our 13-week training summer training sessions were led by Adam London, Director of Cricket and 1st XI Captain and pro coach Eric Botha and supported by our age group manager and parents.
Recognising that each player develops at different speeds, our core focus in 2024 was to create an enjoyable environment that gave equal opportunity for all players to learn core cricket and teamwork skills and improve their game, whilst enabling everyone to be tested competitively in matches.
Everyone is welcome at Richmond. Our principal goal is to foster a lifelong love of the game for everyone and maximise everyone's potential. For those who aspire to County level and beyond, we expect to nominate several players to the Middlesex and Surrey academies in 2025. For those who are happy to play, improve every week and have fun, we will support you equally.
We welcome new team players at any time, no matter experience, and provide winter training nets opportunities. Please get in touch today if you'd like to join or have any questions.
