Richmond Cricket Club

In 2010, Richmond introduced a Girls group to our Junior programme. This is a mixed-age group with girls between the ages of 8 and 13 participating. Until this time, a few girls had joined their male counterparts for both practice and matches but it was recognised that this was not the most satisfactory way of encouraging girls to take up the game.

Our Girls squad has grown in number over the last two summers and Richmond is now working with other local clubs to develop a pathway for girls who wish to go on and play competitive cricket.
