If you are under 18 read this!
- Play cricket within the laws and in the spirit of the game
- Encourage your team
- Don’t sledge- respect your opponent
- Be polite to umpires and respect their decisions. Do not show dissent or argue
- Listen to your coaches – respect them and expect their respect
- Do not throw tantrums or cricket bats. Such behaviour is not acceptable
- Know when and where you have a match or training- be on time
- Wear the right kit and sun cream when required
- A protective box is required for all hard-ball sessions and helmets must be worn by all players under the age of 18 when batting or standing-up to the stumps when wicket-keeping. Cricket clothing and suitable footwear must be worn for all matches.
- Throwdowns are dangerous near spectators, bat away from them!
- Junior members are not allowed to smoke on club premises or whilst representing the club at competitions
- Junior members are not allowed to consume alcohol or drugs of any kind on the club premises or whilst representing the club
- If there is a problem speak to your coach, your parent or Neil the Welfare Officer
- Always say please and thank you to the bar staff
